Description: Seminar explores three nations (Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico) confrontation with issues of industrialization and democracy through programs they referred to as "developmentalism." Beginning with historical roots in the late 19th and early 20th centuries through the introduction of Neoliberalism and the "Washington Consensus" of the late 20th century.
