Description: Covers theoretical and empirical work in labor supply, labor demand, and equilibrium in the labor market. The course requires a firm foundation in microeconomic theory and in ability to apply the basic tools of microeconomic analysis. ECON 415 requires no prior courses in statistics or economics, but some elementary knowledge of statistics and econometrics will be useful.
