Description: Freshman writing seminar in history which offers an overview of American Foreign policy and overseas military interventions in the 20th century. Special emphasis will be placed on critically appraising the nature, aims, and uses of American power in the modern world. Topics will include U.S. policy in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Central America.
