Description: PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF INDUCTIVELY-COUPLED PLASMA MASS SPECTROMETRY ***** This course is designed to introduce students to the principles and practices of inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Emphasis will be placed on geologic applications. Basic concepts of mass spectometry, data reduction, data analysis, sample preparation, and data presentation will be discussed.
