Description: U.S. LABOR HISTORY: 20TH CENTURY REPRESENTATIONS ***** This lecture/discussion course considers the last century of American labor history through a close analysis of journalism, fiction, and film. Topics will include: industrialization, immigration, gender, industrial unionism, race relations, syndicalist, socialist and communist organizing, agrarian labor, and de-industrialization.
