Description: HUMANIST TRADITION AND ITS CRITICS ***** Exploration of aspects of Western humanist and anti-humanist traditions from the early modern period to the present, with emphasis on how writers within each tradition understood fundamental terms like human nature, self, community, morality, and freedom.
