Description: CHINESE FILMS AND MODERN CHINESE LITERATURE ***** Exploration of modern Chinese literature through the visual imagery of Chinese films. Includes an analysis using literary history and narrative structure to link film adaptations to their original texts, with emphasis on narratology and movie theory.
