Description: GERMAN NOBEL PRIZE LAUREATES ***** The course will introduce biography of Alfred Nobel and the reasons for establishing his famous Nobel Prize. Most famous among German recipients were Gunter Grass (1999), Heinrich Boll (1972), Herman Hesse (1946) and Thomas Mann (1929). Their novel work will be analyzed as an artistic reflection of their socio-critical thoughts on the history of Germany.
