Description: SCIENTIFIC SPANISH I ***** Content-based course in Spanish in which the student will be familiarized with uses of the language necessary to deal with scientific issues in the Spanish-speaking world. Activities in class will include reading current, scientific texts, presentations and special issues concerning the fields in which the student is interested. ***** Enrollment limited to 20. ***** Prerequisite(s): Placement test (300 or higher) or permission of the instructor.
