Description: COMPOSITION AND CONVERSATION I: LANGUAGE AND STYLE IN CULTURAL TEXTS ***** Discussion and composition based on a variety of reading materials (videos, German newspapers, websites, literary texts) and interactional contexts (e.g. partner works, reports, interviews, dialogues). Focus on cultural awareness and topics relating to contemporary German literature, culture, and politics, then and now. Special emphasis on developing writing skills and oral fluency.
