Description: FRESHMAN SEMINAR: LATIN AMERICAN SHORT FICTION (EMPHASIS ON BORGES & CORTAZAR) ***** Readings of classic works of short fiction by modern Latin American masters, with special emphasis on the stories of Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortazar. Close reading, interpretive essays. Taught in English.
