Description: Organic chemistry of aliphatic and aromatic compounds with emphasis on structure, functional groups, bonding, and reaction mechanisms. Either CHEM 211 or CHEM 251 may be taken as a prerequisite for higher study in chemistry, but only one of these may be taken for credit.
