Description: Independent research in Rice BCB faculty laboratories (section 1) or other Texas Medical Center laboratories (section 2). Students spend at least three hours per week in the laboratory for each semester hour of credit. If taken for 2 or more hours, counts as one required lab course but not as a Group A or Group B course. Requires a research paper (fall semester) or a poster presentation (spring semester). Recommended: Instructor permission. Repeatable for Credit.
