EMSP 281 - EMT-B INTRO TO EMERGENCY CARE

Description: This course is a state-sanctioned EMT-B Certification course which includes practical and didactic exploration into pre-hospital care. This class culminates with a national certification to practice pre-hospital care on the EMT-B level. This course will discuss anatomy, body systems, and the biochemical basis of emergency intervention in addition to practical application of EMT-B skills. Formerly HEAL 308 and BIOS 281 and NSCI 281. Description: This course is open to an undergraduate student who serves as an instructor for the Emergency Medical Technician course.
